People living in Lansing will have a chance Wednesday to give their thoughts on the city's ahref="https://www.wilx.com/content/news/Lansing-City-Council-approves-Mayors-Budget-483277441.html">budget for the next fiscal year.
The city is holding meetings to give residents the opportunity to ask questions about the city's budget process and priorities.
Three participatory budget nights will be held at the following locations from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.:
-November 28 at the Foster Community Center - 200 N Foster Avenue
-November 29 at Kelly's Downtown - 220 S Washington Square
-December 6 at the Schmidt Center - 5825 Wise Road
Mayor Andy Schor, Department of Neighborhoods and Citizen Engagement Director Andi Crawford and Finance Director Angie Bennett will attend each event.
More budget nights will be held early next year for citizens to provide further input on the Fiscal Year 2020 budget which begins July 1, 2019.
