A Lansing teenager is recovering this morning in the hospital after getting shot in the face.
It happened on Walnut Street near Oakland Ave. just after 8 p.m. Monday night.
Lansing police are still investigating, but say it appears the 16-year-old boy accidentally shot himself.
His injuries are not life threatening. Police also say a gun was recovered from the scene.
