Lansing Rheumatology staff head to work in their pajamas for a good cause

Posted

Staff members at Lansing Rheumatology in East Lansing showed up to work today in their pajamas to help raise money for Lupus patients.

This is an annual event their office puts on for patients to receive more information about the disease, and for them to see the compassion and understanding the staff has for them.

May 2nd will be the official national event day for PJ Day at the office.

Owner and Nurse Practitioner Iris Zink said one of her patients told her how tired the disease makes her and that many days, she finds herself not able to get out of her pajamas, thus sparking the idea for this amazing event and fundraiser.

All of the proceeds raised will go towards the Lupus Foundation of America.
