The Lansing Promise Scholarship Program, received a big donation Thursday.
The MSU Federal Credit Union presented the organization with a $100,000 check Thursday afternoon.
The money helps give students who can't afford college, an opportunity to get a degree.
Scholarship recipients can use the money to earn their associates degree at Lansing Community College, or receive $6,500 toward their first two years at MSU or Olivet College.
