LANSING, Mich. — In honor of Pride Month, Lansing's very own Pride celebration will be held this weekend, but the festival will close some roads downtown.

Parts of Grand Avenue, Shiawasee Street, Ottawa Street and Capitol Avenue will be closed to all traffic.

They'll be shut down starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday and will re-open around 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

The Michigan Pride festival is expected to draw people from across the state for a March, Parade and Rally on the steps of the State Capitol.
