Lansing Police are working to figure out how one of their patrol cars was damaged during Tuesday night's fireworks show. It happened around 11 p.m, when the car was sitting near the intersection of Saginaw and Cedar streets.

Officers initially thought someone fired a gunshot into the vehicle. After investigating further, police say the damage may have been caused by fireworks. Nobody was injured in the incident, and no arrests have been made.

Crowds of people were gathered in downtown Lansing Tuesday night, for the annual Fourth of July fireworks show at Adado Riverfront Park.
