Lansing police are investigating a shooting death on the city's southwest side.
Officers were dispatched to a home on the 3600 block of Lucie Street around 1 a.m. Thursday for a report of a shooting.
A next-door neighbor tells FOX 47 she woke up to the sound of several gunshots and says she saw a man lying in the driveway.
The same neighbor says she then saw a woman run outside and started screaming for someone to call 911.
Lansing police say the victim is a 44-year-old man.
FOX 47 saw several police officers armed with assault rifles and police dogs searching the area shortly after at the scene.
Police say the search for the shooter was not successful and no one is in custody at this time.
