LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) — Some local heroes will help spread a little holiday cheer just days before Christmas.
The Lansing Police and Fire Departments will hand out presents Wednesday morning to kids at Sparrow Hospital.
The toys were collected by both departments over the past few weeks.
The hope is to lift the spirits of children who will be away from home or their loved ones during the holiday season.
