LANSING, Mich. — A company vying to be Michigan's largest marijuana business has harvested its first crop this week.

Green Peek Innovations has about 80 employees working and expects to add over 100 jobs at its facilities in Lansing and Windsor Township by the end of the year.

They're moving into their new headquarters this week and already have plans to expand.

The company's CEO says it plans to harvest almost 30 thousand pounds of marijuana a year from its facility in Windsor Township.

The company also plans to open 19 of its own dispensaries across the state over the next two years.

Those businesses are expected to create about 400 jobs.
