A Lansing man has pled guilty to his role in a shooting from last year.
20-year-old Dallas Benitez pled guilty to a felony robbery charge, and agreed to testify against two other men involved in the crime last December. The three of them are accused of conspiring to rob a man, and shooting him through an apartment door in south Lansing.
The victim, Andrew Garcia, was in the hospital for months after being shot. Benitez was not the one who pulled the trigger.
He'll be sentenced next month.
