FOX 47's Christopher Lane spoke briefly with Patrick Paddock, the nephew of the suspected shooter in Las Vegas.
Patrick didn't want to talk on camera, saying he's not quite there emotionally.
He did say it's been an extremely trying time on his family and he wishes he could bear some of the cross that his father, Eric Paddock, is holding right now.
Patrick is the director of music ministry at St. Jude Catholic Church in DeWitt. He didn't say much about his uncle, but said he doesn't know how this could've happened, and he doesn't think anyone will know until they get to "the gates of heaven."
He says he wishes he could make it to the funerals of every victim who was killed in the shooting.
