Lansing man in critical condition after hit-and-run

Lansing police are on the hunt for the driver who hit a 24-year-old Lansing man on the city's south side Thursday and then fled the scene.

The hit-and-run happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Washington Avenue near Rosadell Avenue. Police say the victim ran out into the road and was hit by a car. He is in critical condition.

The accident is still under investigation.

Police are looking for a dark Pontiac, either Grand Prix, or Grand Am.

Police say there should be damage on the front end of the car.
