Lansing man faces charges after intentional crash

A Lansing man has been charged with assault after an incident involving two vehicles that police say was deliberate.

Eaton County Deputies were dispatched to a crash at Saginaw Hwy. and Robins Rd that involved two vehicles. It happened Tuesday, July 4 2017.

One vehicle, an SUV, had rolled over and struck a light post. The driver was pinned inside.

Delta Twp. Fire Dept got the driver out, and transported her to a local hospital. Her injuries are serious, but not considered to be life threatening.

Police believe that 32 year old Lansing resident, Tony Lorenzo Walker, intentionally crashed his vehicle into the SUV. The suspect, and victims know each other.

Walker was arrested. He was charged by the Eaton County Prosecutor and arraigned on two 10 year felony counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and one 5 year count of Reckless operation of a motor vehicle causing serious injury. Bond was set at $250,000.
