A 30-year-old Lansing man was charged with unarmed robbery Tuesday.

David Linn Positano faces charges stemming from an August 7 robbery. Positano allegedly robbed the Red Burrito in the 200 block of S. Washington.

Officers were called to the scene at 2:35 p.m., and when they arrived a witness directed them to a nearby alleyway. That's where they found the suspect, Positano, and an employee. Positano was placed under arrest at the scene.

He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, and released and lodged at the Lansing Detention facility.

Investigation revealed that Positano was a former employee of the business. He allegedly returned to the Red Burrito and took money from the register while employees were busy.
