A Lansing man is behind bars tonight for assaulting and carjacking a man in Ionia County.
27-year-old Gabriel Neff was arrested Friday in Danby Township.
The sheriff's office says Neff assaulted a man while he was launching his boat then took his cell phone and car.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Neff's facing charges of carjacking, unarmed robbery, and aggravated assault.
