Some scary moments at the Lansing Mall on Thursday turned out not to be a big deal.
The food court was evacuated around lunchtime because of smoke and a burning odor.
Firefighters eventually found out it was a compressor that overheated on top of a refrigerator in the mall office.
No one was hurt.
