UPDATE 11:25AM: Consumers Energy says a snow plow damaged a line that connects a gas service line to a meter around 6:30 Monday morning.That caused the leak that led to the Lansing Mall being closed for nearly 3 hours.

UPDATE 9:31AM: The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says the mall has reopened.

The Lansing Mall is closed until further notice due to a gas leak. Delta Township Fire Department and Consumers Energy crews are on scene at the mall located on W. Saginaw Highway.
There is still no word on the cause of the gas leak.
This is a developing story.
