Mayor-elect Andy Schor tells FOx 47's Marcus Dash what he plans to do on day one. He could not just say there was one thing he wanted to do on his first day in office.
He says he promised his voters that he would get the ball rolling on a job creation plan as well as a plan to fix the roads in Lansing.
Schor says he wants to work with the communities and families of Lansing to improve the neighborhoods and parks, so people have something to do.
He has already hired four members of his staff, including Chief of Staff Samantha Harkins. She was a former staffer at the State Capital.
He plans on meeting with Mayor Bernero next week to discuss the transition process.
