The Lansing Kroger celebrated the conclusion of its $4 million dollar remodel on Wednesday.

One update in the store featured the introduction of its new shopping technology, "Scan, Bag, Go." The store says it offers shoppers the option to use a wireless handheld scanner or the "Scan, Bag, Go" app on their smartphone to buy products.

"[Its] a quicker, seamless checkout experience," Kroger said in a release.

The store, located on West Saginaw Highway, featured giveaways, specials, and sampling at the grand re-opening.
