LANSING, Mich. — With a goal of inspiring the next generation of professional soccer players, Lansing Ignite FC is excited to host its first youth Soccer Camps this summer at Cooley Law School Stadium.
These camps are open to children ages 6-18 years old who are interested in improving their technical skills and ability on the ball. Campers will have the opportunity to play soccer on a professional pitch and receive specific instruction from the professional players and coaching staff of LIFC.
“We are excited to offer a youth soccer camp in Lansing,” said LIFC Vice President and General Manager, Jeremy Sampson. “This is an amazing opportunity for youth soccer players to engage with and learn from our experienced players and coaching staff. They have a lot to offer these young players and want to help them improve their game and get to the next level.”
The camp will take place on July 10-12 from 2-5 p.m. each day. It costs $100 and each camper will receive individual instruction on how to better their game, photos and autographs with the players, camp t-shirt and one ticket voucher to the match on July 13th.
LIFC is proud to give back to the community and make Lansing a better place to live, work and play soccer.
“We’re really grateful for the Lansing community and all of the support we’ve received in our inaugural season,” said Head Coach Nate Miller. “We’re dedicated to helping young players be the best they can be.”
