LANSING, Mich. — On July 10-12 Lansing Ignite is hosting a soccer camp for local mid-Michigan youth. The goal of the camp is to inspire the next generation of professional soccer players, and for the Lansing Ignite FC, this is their first youth Soccer Camps this summer at Cooley Law School Stadium.
These camps were open to children ages 6-18 years old who are interested in improving their technical skills and ability on the ball. Campers had the opportunity to play soccer on a professional pitch and receive specific instruction from the professional players and coaching staff of LIFC.
Today, Day 1 of the camp, two of our Junior Reporters that were participating in the camp shared their experiences with FOX 47.
If you missed the first camp, Lansing Ignite is having a second round for youth on July 31-August 2. Find out more on the Lansing Ignite website.
