A man found dead in a car in southwest Lansing has been identified.
Tuesday afternoon Lansing Police told FOX 47 that the man found in a car late Monday night was Jeffrey Alexander Capers, a 45 year old from Trenton, Michigan.
Capers body was found with a gunshot wound in a car that had crashed into a residence in the 4300 block of Chadburne Drive.
Capers was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police continue to try to piece together the sequence of events that led to the discovery of the man's body in the car.
No arrests have been made.
