Lansing area residents will have an opportunity to meet the city's interim fire chief Thursday.
David Purchase will take over the job as Lansing's interim fire chief on July 1st.
He'll replace Randy Talifarro, who announced last month he's resigning from the Lansing Fire Department but will remain with the East Lansing Fire Department.
The meet and greet with interim chief Purchase and Lansing firefighters will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the South Washington Office Complex in Lansing.
