Act Laboratories, Inc. has received conditional approval for a business license from Lansing City Clerk Chris Swope. It's a safety compliance facility.
They will not be able to operate until the State of Michigan approves their application and they obtain a certificate of occupancy from the City of Lansing.
All of the applicants and stakeholders at Act Laboratories passed an investigation by the Lansing Police Department. Their building plan was also approved by both the fire marshal and the building safety department.
Act Laboratories, Inc. must not owe any money to the City and must have insurance protecting it City against liability, and other legal documents required by the City Ordinance.
“We are excited to start providing conditional approvals so that businesses like Act Laboratories can move forward with their plans,” said Clerk Chris Swope. “In the coming weeks, we will be providing more approvals.”
