LANSING, Mich. — The city of Lansing is scheduled to take up regulating the motorized scooters that popped up in Mid-Michigan earlier this year.

Lansing City Council's Committee on Public Services will discuss ordinances that set up licensing and regulations to allow companies like Bird and Lime to operate in the Lansing.

The rules would also set up where the scooters can be parked and driven.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. at Lansing City Hall.
