LANSING, Mich. — LCC is moving forward in its search for its next president. The LCC Board of Trustees will conduct Campus Forums to seek input regarding candidate profile suggestions.

The forums will take place from 9-10 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 in the Michigan Room of the Gannon Building on LCC’s Downtown Campus. The LCC community and the general public are invited.

President Brent Knight will retire June 30, 2020, and the LCC Board of Trustees wishes to hire a new president by July 1, 2020.

A screening committee will be appointed by LCC Board of Trustees Chair Lawrence Hidalgo, Jr. at the board’s next regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27. The chair of the screening committee will work directly with the search firm Greenwood-Asher & Associates in the nationwide search to find LCC’s next great leader.
