LANSING, Mich. — A special city council meeting is being held on June 3 to consider overriding Mayor Andy Schor's Veto this week.
Mayor Schor is issuing his first veto after city council cut funding that the mayor wanted to go toward a neighborhood coordinator.
Council instead redirected that money to cover a portion of the cost of a chief restructuring office.
It would take six of the eight council member to override Mayor Schor's veto.
