An old industrial site in Lansing will be turned into commercial space.
The site along the Red Cedar River between Pennsylvania Avenue and Cedar Street used to be lumber mill, a furniture manufacturing company,and a warehouse for the Knapp company.
It will eventually be a two-story development called Potter Flats.
The city council has to approve tax credits before construction can start later this year.
