LANSING, Mich. — With schools across our state closed for a minimum of three weeks due to the COVID-19 outbreak, families are in the middle of navigating the challenges of working and learning from home. While students may be missing their classmates and regular school schedules, they are not alone. Teachers and administrators at schools across the state, and around the country, are missing their students and looking for ways to still connect and encourage their communities.
As Lansing Christian School begins implementing a remote learning strategy, families received a link to a parody video featuring Middle and High School Principal, Andrew Kleyn, and Head of School, Wendy Hofman. The video set to music from the movie Frozen was created to let our families know we are thinking about them and hopefully bring some cheer to our broader community. The video was initially posted on Facebook the afternoon of Wednesday, March 18 and within a few hours has reached over 14,000 views and climbing.
