LANSING, Mich. — The City of Lansing Public Service Department announced due to street resurfacing, there will be lane reductions on Capitol Avenue between Oakland Avenue and Michigan Avenue beginning on Friday, Aug. 16.
During this project, there will be a minimum of one lane open at all times, according to a press release.
Drivers are being advised to expect travel delays and to use caution due to uneven pavements with raised utility covers.
Access to local businesses and residents in this area will be maintained.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
This phase of resurfacing is expected to be completed prior to the Monday, Aug. 19 morning commute, weather permitting.
