Lane closures in Lansing for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k

LANSING, Mich. — The city of Lansing has announced street closures and restrictions to accommodate the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k Walk on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Sign up to walk in Making Strides (Source WILX)Streets closures and lane restrictions in effect between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.:

  • Capitol Avenue between Ionia Street and Allegan Street
  • Ottawa Street between Washington Square and Capitol Avenue
  • Michigan Avenue between Washington Square and Capitol Avenue

Street closures and lane restrictions will be in effect between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.:

  • Ottawa Street between Capitol Avenue and ML King
  • Pine Street between Ottawa Street and Allegan Street
  • Allegan Street between M.L. King and Pine Street
  • Walnut Street between St Joseph and Ottawa Street
  • Capitol Avenue between Allegan Street and Lenawee Street
  • Lenawee Street between Capitol Avenue and Walnut Street
  • Townsend Street between Lenawee Street and Allegan Street
  • Walnut Street between Saint Joseph Street and Ottawa Street
  • Allegan Street between Pine Street and Capitol Avenue
  • Kalamazoo Street between Pine Street and Washington Square
  • Washtenaw Street between Capitol Avenue and Pine Street
  • Lenawee Street between Capitol Avenue and Chestnut Street
  • Pine Street between Allegan Street and Kalamazoo Street
  • Capitol Avenue between Allegan and Hillsdale Street
