LANSING, Mich. — Three Lansing Community College students have won a little extra money for the upcoming school year.
The LAFCU presented scholarships to three Lansing Community College women who have won the 2019 Women Helping Educate Every Lady (W.H.E.E.L.) scholarship essay.
The scholarships are $1,000 each to attend LCC beginning this fall.
The three women will be returning to school for a new career and were selected by members of the LAFCU employee committee.
LAFCU will have awarded $15,000 since the essay contest began.
