One Battle Creek firefighter was injured in an effort to fight a structure fire at Motus Integrated Technologies.
The fire occurred at 2500 Logistics Drive just before 1:15 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Upon arrival, firefighters from the Battle Creek Fire Department found that a small fire had started in a manufacturing hopper while processing a type of insulation for automobiles.
The firefighters were able to contain the fire due to the suppression/sprinkler system on site.
One firefighter was sent to the hospital due to strenuous firefighting and heavy heat.
The firefighter's health status is unknown at this time.
