Knights on Bikes ride to Hell

OKEMOS, Mich. — Members of the Knights on Bikes took off from Okemos on a 38-mile ride to Hell, Michigan Wednesday morning.

Over 100 riders were part of this gang, which is a branch off of the Knights of Columbus, and started off the day with a group safety session along with a prayer.

The Christian faith followers find a balance between their love for motorcycles and their love for Christ.

One motorcyclist, Jeff Cavins said, "You get hundreds of bikes riding down the road. Everybody's got to be thinking about their brother. You're not here alone, you're part of a body and that's true of the body of Christ. It's not just you and God, its us as a family. We suffer together, we rejoice together, but we are together."

After the prayer, people listed off what they were most excited for when they get to Hell, which included the Harley Davidson store, bars, but most importantly the ice cream shops.

Fellow Knights on Bikes member Bear Woznik was not only riding to Hell Wednesday, but he was also filming his reality show "Long Ride Home with Bear Woznik."

He said, "There's something about riding motorcycles, the danger about it. Your wits have to be about you. That kind of connects the people together, the men together as real brothers. There are lone riders and we like to ride alone, we need our solitude too. But riding in packs, there's a brotherhood among all riders.

But the trip doesn't end just in Hell.

Woznik and his wife Cindy are going to be riding to the Upper Penninsula and then to Minneapolis to end the ride.
