The Michigan Knights of Columbus on Friday collected thousands of Christmas gifts for vulnerable children.
The Knights and their families packaged winter clothes like sweatshirts, hats, and gloves to send them to children at Holy Cross School Services.
They also collected baskets with hygiene products like shampoo, body wash, and toothbrushes.
"I think it's important that we all give back to our community and I think it's important that as a state we can come together and take care of those in need," said Mary Beth Chasse.
The program has been around for 30 years.
Last year, the Knights collected over 3,000 articles of clothing plus $7,500 in donations.
