MASON, Mich. — Klavon's Pizzeria and Pub is hiring a lot of people.
They are looking to hire over 200 employees for a new location opening in Mason this spring.
From Friday, Feb. 21, till Sunday, Feb. 23, Klavon's is holding a job fair at 318 W. Kipp Road, that's the new location for the Mason pizzeria.
The three-day job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with interviews being held on the spot.
Management expects to interview about 800 applicants in two rounds. They've already hired 50 people.
"We're hiring for about 110 for the back of house and 130 or so for front of house. So, I mean, just different positions whether that's pizza line, grill line or serving, bartending, host," said Klavon's Pizza General Manager David Hawkings.
Currently, the restaurant has two locations in Jackson, the Mason location would be the third.
The new location is still under construction but, when it's finished, likely by the end of March, it will feature a pizza oven, a bar and two levels of seating.
