Former MSU Gymnastics Coach Kathie Klages is expected to turn herself in on two charges of lying to investigators on Thursday, the Attorney General's Office says.
Spokeswoman Andrea Bitely said the AG's Office has been in contact with her attorney, Mary Chartier.
"We expect Ms. Klages to turn herself in to the Lansing Police Department at 8 a.m on Thursday, August 30," Bitely said.
Klages is expected to be arraigned following her booking.
Prosecutors say Klages lied to detectives about when she was told about Larry Nassar's abuse. She is the second Former MSU employee charged in the Attorney General's investigation into MSU's handling of complaints against Nassar. The first was William Strampel.
Klages resigned as MSU Gymnastics Coach in 2017, after she was suspended for defending Nassar during a team meeting.
