Kirsten Gillibrand coming to Lansing ahead of Democratic presidential debate

LANSING, MIch. — Democratic presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand will campaign in Michigan before the second presidential debate of 2019.

According to her campaign, the U.S. senator from New York is set to stop in Lansing, Flint, and Oakland County on Friday, July 12.

Gillibrand will take part in an event on her 'Trump Broken Promises Tour' at the Lansing Brewing Company on 518 E Shiawassee St. in Lansing at 6:30 p.m.

Gillibrand last visited Michigan in March, when she filmed an MSNBC town hall in Auburn Hills.

Her July visits come as the city of Detroit is holding the second Democratic National Committee at the Fox Theatre.

The two-day debate will happen on July 30 and 31.
