Kids can learn about first aid and rescue at Camp 9-1-1

Jackson Community Ambulance's Camp 9-1-1 opens today.

Camp 9-1-1 is a free, interactive, two-day camp put on by Jackson Community Ambulance.

Children between the age of 8 - 12 can sign up.

Activities include learning CPR and first aid with paramedics, exploring emergency vehicles, touring local emergency departments and fire departments, and engaging in interactive presentations from local police and specialty teams.

Pre-registration is required.

Camp runs from 9 - 4:30 each day, on July 27 and 28 at the Jackson Community Ambulance Headquarters on 429 Ingham Street in Jackson.
