ALBION, Mich. — Christmas is brighter for dozens of families in Western Michigan, thanks to a generous teenager.

Kenny Isaacson decided to be his own version of Santa and delivered gifts to those who are less fortunate.

The 17-year-old gave away a sackful of toys to kids at shelters in Calhoun and Jackson counties.

He and his crew gave toys to over 40 kids.

The teenager worked two part-time jobs and spent most of the money he made on the gifts for others.

Isaacson says he just wanted the kids to be happy around the holidays.

"I want them to not think about housing projects or shelters or soup kitchens or ERs or surgeries, nothing. I want them to think about ... 'OH MY GOSH! What is in here, man? What is it? Is it a puppy, is it a video game?'" Isaacson said.
