There will soon be snow on the ground for another winter in Michigan and the Kent County Road Commission is getting an early start on reminding drivers about how to prepare.
First, there are several items you will want to keep in your car throughout the season like gloves, a blanket, extra water, an ice scraper, snow brush, jumper cables and a first aid kit.
There are also some things you should do to your car prior to temperatures dropping like making sure you always have fresh antifreeze in your car and always keeping your gas tank full.
