There are many questions and unknowns surrounding how students will return to the classroom with coronavirus still a major issue.

We spoke with Patrick Quinn, a parenting expert at Brainly, about some tips for parents as school starts back up.

He emphasized the importance of talking to your child about how this school year will be different than past ones.

Creating a learning command center, or a place to allow your student to study and do homework in peace, is also key.

Focus on building excitement while inspiring positivity. This can be done by making fun face masks and prepping healthy lunches and snacks.

Utilizing tech tools such as Brainly, or an online student planner, will help keep your child's studies organized and efficient.

Make sure that they have time for social interactions over Zoom, and always have hand sanitizer on hand.

And while it goes without saying, developing a healthy sleep routine will also help.
