A family in Comstock Park wanted to celebrate their daughter’s 6th birthday. With social distancing in place, they wanted to plan something special to mark the milestone.

Rosalyn Breen, known as Rozy, was born with a rare disease and diagnosed with arthogryposis, which is a condition comprised of two or more areas in the body with congenital joint contractures. She is unable to fully ‘open’ her joins and has extremely poor muscle tone.

With Rozy’s condition, every birthday means so much. The family organized a drive-by parade to celebrate with friends and family on Friday past their home.

“It was quite incredible. I mean, we knew some people had messaged that they were coming,” said Rozy’s mom, Tiffany Breen.

Dozens of cars came through the parade. Some people wrote signs and posters to celebrate with Rozy from afar.
