Holiday shoppers, take note--a mid-Michigan institution is back.
Kean's in Mason re-opened their doors this weekend. A fire damaged most of the store in June, and getting it back up and running has taken some work. The re-opening was delayed multiple times, but the manager told us on Sunday, the store is back open just in time.
"This is our busiest time of year," said Laurie Reed. "We were concerned because we lost out on Thanksgiving weekend and Small Business Saturday, and we lost out on the craft shows in Mason."
Reed said both Saturday and Sunday were busy at the store, and they are thrilled at the community support.
