Republican candidate Ohio Governor John Kasich campaigned in Michigan on Monday.
He made a play for Donald Trump's supporters during a speech in Monroe saying insults and name calling won't win the White House.
Governor Kasich also thinks he'll get enough delegates in Michigan and Ohio to guarantee Trump can not lock up the nomination before the republican convention.
The Governor said, "It's like anything else in life, there's certain rules. I mean you to take a driving test, if you don't pass the driving test you don't get your license. It's not like well that's good enough for government. So you've got to win. You don't just say I have more than everybody else therefore I'm in."
Republican candidate Ted Cruz was scheduled to appear in Grand Rapids Monday night.
Donald Trump and Marco Rubio don't have events scheduled in Michigan.
