HOWELL, Mich. (WSYM) — A Livingston County Judge found herself on the other side of the courtroom Tuesday.

Theresa Brennan is being charged with three felonies.

They include perjury, tampering with or destroying evidence, and misconduct in office.

The hearing Tuesday was only 10 minutes long.

The charges all stem from a judicial tenure hearing when the state was investigating her for her temperament and conduct while residing as Judge.

In the 66-page complaint, she's accused of using staff to perform personal services and failing to disclose a relationship with a police officer during a murder case.

If convicted, she could be removed from the bench
