UPDATE: Monday night, former Rep. John Dingell's wife, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell wrote in a Facebook post that doctors are in a fact-gathering mode.

She said her husband may undergo a heart catherization tomorrow and remains feisty and in charge.

John Dingell was hospitalized Monday morning after a heart attack.

Debbie Dingell said in a tweet early Monday afternoon her husband was being admitted to Henry Ford Hospital.

She said that he's in good spirits, even cracking jokes.
