JCI Lansing Elects New Board of Directors

LANSING, Mich. — JCI Lansing, formerly Lansing Jaycees, recently elected a new team of leaders for their 2019 Board of Directors.

During the November 13 general membership meeting, JCI Lansing members elected Nicole Perry as the 2019 President. Perry became a Jaycee in 2016 and has previously served on the board, most recently as 2018 Vice President. She is very involved in her community and is excited to work alongside the rest of the 2019 board to revitalize JCI Lansing and increase membership.

Other members elected to the Board include Treasurer, Austin Hawkins (2018 treasurer), Secretary, Laine Putans, and Vice President, Jessica Anderson (2018 secretary). Angela Clock, Charlie Root, and Abby Sumbler will preside as Chairs of the Board.

JCI Lansing is a chapter of Junior Chamber International, the world’s premier service organization for young professionals. Members are 21 – 40 years old and are brought together by a love of community, philanthropy, and skill-building projects. JCI Lansing is well-known in the community for signature fundraising projects such as the Easter Egg Hunt on the Capitol Lawn, Snowman Army, and Stuff the Bus. Membership does not require a sponsorship or application, but chapter dues are required. Meetings are held at 6:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month.
