Jackson woman charged in boyfriend's murder

JACKSON, Mich. — A Jackson woman faces up to 15 years in prison after she was convicted of killing her boyfriend.

A jury found Daisha Cooper guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the May 2016 shooting death of Ben Johnson on Monday.

Prosecutors said Cooper ambushed Johnson because she thought he was cheating on her.

She'll be sentenced in March.
