The Jackson City Council will vote on a non-discrimination ordinance on Tuesday, that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
The ordinance would make discrimination for employment or public housing purposes a civil infraction.
If passed, the ordinance will go into effect in 30 days.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
